Venture Sweeps 2023 ASID Crystal Awards

2023 ASID Crystal Awards Winner
The Venture team is both humbled and thrilled to have swept the ASID Crystal Awards Corporate Office or Workplace 15,000 Square Feet & Over category, being awarded the Crystal Award for OpenTable Support Hub and the Silver Award for Crocs Global Headquarters:

OpenTable Support Hub
This project for OpenTable focused squarely on employee recruiting, development, and retention. Having designed for them several times in the past, our team was aligned with their culture. So we were able to focus this 250+ staff centric space on what the team needed for optimal performance and to be able to culturally flourish. Acoustics, decompression from their stressful work, and team connectivity all were paramount in order to enable these teams to perform at their highest level. In addition, the community of staff needed a wide array of highly unique, inspiring, and creative zones for individual, team, and collaborative work. The resulting suite is uniquely tailored to the team and fits well in their post-Covid workplace strategy.

Crocs Global Headquarters
After large, strategic product growth, Crocs needed to architecturally reflect a new chapter for their business. It started with this first generation, one story, 88,000 square foot flex building as a place to grow their culture. We defined the design concept as a ‘Home for Work’ to reflect Crocs’ democratic, egalitarian, and easy-going yet driven and focused culture. Our approach with the space was to apply the same keen eye and focus on comfort that they take to their footwear; to design the architecture the way Crocs designs shoes. We sought an intentionally flowing, integrated neighborhood workplace strategy to connect the widely varied teams. Similarly, the design unites the teams with a “hub” intentionally placed in the middle of the building to link staff on each side with a breakroom, training room, huddle rooms, and coffee style connected spaces. The whole design works in concert to display the Crocs vibe, showcase their product, and reflect their amazing culture to the team as well as all of their invited guests.
