An important design feature are two pedestrian friendly mirrored courtyards which activate the space and provide connectivity. The mid-century modern design incorporates red brick to preserve the local neighborhood’s character.

This remodel required converting a separate four-car garage into a habitable living space equipped with a new kitchen, dining room and family room.  By connecting this newly usable space to the existing home, we were able to transform the primary residence into the private side of the home, while also creating additional space and headroom upstairs.

Colliers International

Colliers International

Colliers International is a leading global commercial real estate company.  For their Denver Technological Center location, the 15,000 space, our goal was to reflect their energetic and entrepreneurial culture. Built around several teams, the company sought to retain and increase their team’s bonds. With a need to balance entertaining guests while preserving clients’ significant privacy needs, we deployed a reception area that doubles as a large space with conference and board rooms able to open up and serve parties and gatherings. However, the conference spaces made use of “switch glass” walls and very large glass barn doors that can be transparent or opaque with the flip of a switch.

Applied Control

Applied Control

The Venture team was proud to design the ground-up local headquarters for Applied Control in South Metro Denver. The layout is designed to support engagement and collaboration among current employees while providing the flexibility to accommodate the rapidly expanding company’s significant growth projections. Managing a diverse team of more than 10 consultants throughout the project, we were able to orchestrate a final product that balanced the client’s programmatic requests with an aesthetically intriguing design and productive work environment. Features such as massive, 20’ x 50’ window with a permanently uninterrupted view of the mountains served their recruiting and retention efforts well.

Laser Tech

Laser Tech

Venture designed a new 45,000 facility for Laser Tech, a global company that develops, tests, and assembles laser measuring devices for both the private and public market. Through close collaboration with the client and their brokerage team, led by Jim McGrath of Studley, we landed on a space that would support both their current needs and future growth aspirations. After selecting a site, we detailed the new space to reveal Laser Tech’s unique and vertical market approach to product design, production, and sale. The design features a level of sophistication that befits their status as an industry leader, while providing a strong connection to their Colorado headquarters location.

Summit Materials

Summit Materials

Summit Materials is a largely focused on acquiring, growing and improving heavy-side building materials such as ready-mix concrete, cement, and asphalt paving. After relocating to Denver, they chose Venture to design their new headquarters. Having leased an 18,000 sf space with two floors in Denver’s historic “Mercantile Building”, Venture was able to tie in numerous existing rustic features of the space with the heavy materials the company works with on a daily basis. Glass and sleek stainless steel accents balance the space and lend a contemporary vibe that fits their forward-thinking culture. The result is a very special space that reflects their product and attentively serves their team.

Rock Island

Rock Island

Acquired in 2006, the historic Case Plow and Rock Island buildings were built in the 1880’s and 1920’s, but they have largely sat dormant for over 30 years. Our team brought them back to life by designing the repairs and modifications to the core and shell to meet current day requirements. The use of both eye Market Tax Credits in addition to multiple historic tax credit sources posed many challenges. After a lengthy and intensive discovery phase, we were able to partner closely with the developer to deliver a unique and highly valuable multi-use property consisting of restaurants, retail, and residential.
